You Are by Kirk Franklin

Released 12 years, this timeless piece of worship music speaks of the love of God in an unprecedented way. Kirk Franklin always approaches the subject of the love of God from an angle of the inadequacies of man. Simply put, he says” Jesus You love me” without using those actual words

The lord is My Light by Andrae Crouch

Andrae Crouch classics are still very impactful even for Christians of today. The lord is my light and salvation whom shall I fear?He carries me over mountains high; He watches me through the valleys low. When I’m going through the storm, I’m protected in His hands. These words made into lyrics don’t get old.

Alright by Fred Hammond

This is a 90s song in a 2019 skin. So let’s say Fred Hammond did a complete remake of this hit jam changing everything apart from the lyrics. I think this is very nice and a good way for the new school to enjoy the old-school in their way.

There is God by Donnie McClurkin

Donnie did say in the opening interview of this song that all over Europe and America the new generation (millennials and generation Z alike) have withdrawn for church and from God. A lot of them are atheists or pluralists and so it is important to remind them that there is God and He can be their all.

Let It Fall by Tasha Cobbs Leonard

‘We don’t need lights, camera, action. We just need your presence. Let it fall..’  This is a revival song for this dispensation. If you do not have this song on your playlist yet then you need to watch and download it.

Never would Have Made It by Marvin Sapp

This 2007 hit form the album thirsty wrote writing after the singer passed through quite some turbulent times and in this testimony, he declares that God was his strength thought and that he never would have made it without the constant guidance and help of God.

Every Praise by Hezekiah Walker

This is an all-time favorite and went through the entire circles from special choir ministrations to praise and worship choruses to covers and so on. It is evident that the timeless hit will always be in our repertoire and long as the church continues.

Moving forward by Israel Houghton

Moving forward is a prophetic declaration of faith. This is one declaration that needs to be made daily and it is important we advance in every area of our lives. It wouldn’t be out of place then to state that this particular track should be played on a daily bases.

He will do it again by Shirley Caesar

This one is a major throwback. If you want to know where the new sound of gospel music started from then this is your reference.

The Prayer by Yolanda Adams ft Donnie McClurkin

This is a remake of the original which was sung by Celine Dion and Adrea Bocelli. The beautiful thing about this track is that they made is more Christian than the original. It is an improvement and extra note and riffs and runs. Donnie just killed it. This remake is better than the original for sure.
