Jesus was God’s living gift to a dying world, a gift we’re still unwrapping 2,000 years later. Jesus’ entire glory, not yet fully exposed. That's the nature of God's gift-giving: the present of "shall be." He'll give a gift that doesn't fit where you are but where you're going. The anointing to be a King, while you're still a “shepherd boy.” To give to the Giver is to unlock the future. This Christmas, get your praise right. Put your future in God’s hands, and give your life to Him. For He'll never ask for something He didn't first give.
