Artist Spotlight: Oleesa Isaac


Whenever the name Oleesa comes up the first thing that comes to mind is passionate praise and worship.

Oleesa is a gospel minister with a variety of unique sounds, flowing with an anointing in all types of genres with a voice that always captures your heart and makes you want more of God.  

A physical therapist by profession and a Minstrel by calling, he hails from Anambra state in Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelors of Physical Therapy degree from the College of Medicine in University of Lagos, Nigeria and masters from the University of St Augustine in Florida USA.

Some of the greatest influence on his music are renowned artists like Donnie McClurkin, Deitrick Haddon, J. Moss and Marvin Sapp, 


According to Oleesa  “I wanted my voice to be a combination of all of them”. This desire and aspiration makes him work harder than any other in the studio, and it is evident that he keeps getting better at music everyday.

He started singing at the early age of thirteen, he kept getting better through the teenage and youth choirs until his adult years. 

He started his ministry back in school in 2014, first it was voice training and then it turned to worship concerts. He consistently hosts gospel music concerts and other song releases almost every year. 

Oleesa has shared the stage with leading icons in the gospel industry such as Nathaniel Bassey, Sammie Okposo, Wura Grant, Joseph Benjamin, Hope Davies, Wunmi Abe to name a few.


“I believe I am called to be the LIGHT that points people to God. The sounds He has places in my spirit are unusual and I know it’s for me to be the signpost that directs the world to Him and I am going to do just that”. Oleesa Isaac.

One thing remains clear, Oleesa is becoming a major force in the gospel music industry and he is destined for greater exploits.
