Amy Grant Inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame

The six-time GRAMMY Award-winner Amy Grant was officially inducted into The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame last night as the Classes of 2020 and 2021 were officially honored during NaSHOF's supersized 50th and 51st Anniversary Hall of Fame Gala. To honor her induction, Grant's husband Vince Gill took the stage to perform her song "Breath of Heaven (Mary's Song)," and NaSHOF member Gretchen Peters presented Grant.

Also announced yesterday, Grant will join a star-studded line-up of fellow icons like Billy Ray Cyrus, Clay Walker, Pam Tillis, Sara & Olivia Evans, Steve Wariner, Tracy Lawrence, and Wynonna for CMT's A Tennessee Kind of Christmas. Premiering Wednesday, December 8, the artists will share holiday traditions, personal memories, and unforgettable performances of all-time favorite Christmas songs from numerous iconic venues and outdoor locations in and around Nashville. The CMT original special will re-air during CMT's Christmas Week, running December 20-25. For more information, click here.

Earlier this summer, Grant released the double-disc, 30th-anniversary edition of her iconic, 5x platinum album, Heart In Motion. She is currently on the last few weeks of a 42-city fall tour, performing songs that span her four-decade-long career, including hits from Heart In Motion to celebrate its milestone anniversary. In early December, Grant will do several Christmas shows with Michael W. Smith, followed by her and Gill's annual Christmas at the Ryman Residency.
