Today, Transparent Productions and Big Daddy Weave shared the sad news that their bass player Jay Weaver passed away on January 2, 2022. Over the weekend, the band asked their fans to pray for Jay after sharing that he was "fighting a tough battle against COVID."
"Jay Weaver went on to be with Jesus today. He was a dear friend to our team and an amazing partner in ministry," Tim Taber of Transparent Productions shared. "He taught us about the power of prayer, the belief that Jesus travels himself to us in miraculous ways. Jay invited us into what God was doing. We all felt his care and love for us. Jay Weaver was the real deal. We are so honored to have been able to serve alongside him for so many years. He is already missed, and he will always be."
