Step FWD Awards - Exciting NEW Additions to Line Up!


The 2nd annual Step FWD Awards -  The UK’s definitive Christian & Gospel Music Awards   - 

With The Step FWD Awards just weeks away we are excited to announce further class acts blessing this year’s event with their performances. We welcome back DJ Shunz, who as a multi award-winning International DJ and Producer is also a current nominee for an Award with her song “Armour” competing in the ‘Reggae Song of the Year’ category. Although voting has now closed, be sure to join us on the night to hear the results!

Carrying on with the Gospel Reggae vibe, Joshua Kesler, singer, songwriter, minister and winner of last year’s ‘Reggae Song of the Year’ with his heartfelt single “Rock I Stand” will also be performing at the unmissable ‘Dove meets Stellar’ style Step FWD Awards taking place on Saturday 26th November, at the impressive Gaumont State Theatre (Ruach City Church) in London. 

Representing the world of Gospel Dancehall Music we are delighted to present Maestro Bravest, an up & coming independent artist attracting interest across the UK and internationally with his “Brave Boss” approach to sharing the Gospel via his genre - definitely one to watch! 

Reggae is just one of the twelve categories included in the UK Christian Charts run by AStepFWD. Look out for further new announcements within the coming days of artists gracing the lineup of Step FWD Awards 2022 reflecting the rich diversity of musical giftings in the body! The Step FWD Awards 2022 is the definitive UK Christian and Gospel music awards that will honour 40+ years of legacy whilst celebrating the 'best of British' contemporary talent from the last twelve months. 

The UK Christian and Gospel scene is filled with incredibly accomplished artists of such variety there truly is something on offer for everyone. Voting by 150+ Judges and the Public for the overall favourite of 126 nominees to win Song of the Year has now closed and counting is underway. Other highly anticipated music awards announced on the night will include best Duo/Group, New Artist, Male and Female, Collaboration and Video of the Year to name a few.


A big highlight of the night will be the honouring of many individuals, who across the decades have paved the way for the current generation, the giants on whose shoulders the Christian music industry of today stands. Some Outstanding Contribution recipients shall be announced in advance, along with Lifetime Achievement and Legacy Awards on the night.
