Planetshakers Drops New Recording of Popular Song "Nothing Is Impossible" (New Version)

Internationally recognized praise and worship band Planetshakers globally released "Nothing Is Impossible - Live In Manila," on February 24 from Venture3Media (V3M). First released in 2011 and has received over 150 million streams to date across various platforms, the newly recorded live version is available now at all major digital and streaming outlets

Written and produced by Joth Hunt, "Nothing Is Impossible" was recorded by Planetshakers band as 60,000 people attended four back-to-back sold-out events in Manila, Philippines, September 8-11, 2022, at the 15,000-seat SM Mall of Asia Arena. The band was visibly energized by the audience's explosive, jubilant response to the song. Along with the audio, this joyful declaration is captured on video for the Deluxe Edition of the single.

"The year was 2008, and I remember standing in a Planetshakers staff prayer meeting when Pastor Russell [Evans] told us he was preaching on Sunday about faith," says Hunt of the song's early roots. "So I went back to the studio and began to read the Bible and pray and ask God to give me a song of faith. Thirty minutes later, 'Nothing Is Impossible' was birthed."

Since then, the song has been recorded in multiple languages by numerous other musicians around the world, each incorporating their own creative expressions.

"To see the impact of this song and how God has used this song is just amazing," continues Hunt. "I remember hearing about a boy who got struck by lightning. He ended up in the hospital being a quadriplegic. As he lay in the hospital, his family decided to play this song on repeat and fill the atmosphere of that hospital room with faith. When the doctors said there was going to be no way, we saw God do a mighty miracle where he was fully restored and able to walk again.

"This song is filled with the Word of God," adds Hunt. "The Word of God is Truth that says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. And we see so many impossible situations being made possible by the power of God." (See the remarkable video backstory of this song here.)

Along with "Nothing Is Impossible" and the recently released "Yes And Amen," Planetshakers' current, full-production live album GREATER and its companion GREATER: Live At Chapel project both released last fall. The chapel album re-crafts GREATER songs in a musically accessible way for smaller gatherings and was recorded by the band on a mountaintop vista near Melbourne, Australia, along with Planetshakers Bible College students.
