ABOUT DUNSIN OYEKAN
Dunsin Oyekan, affectionately known as The Eagle, is a prominent Nigerian gospel artist, worship leader, and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his spiritually charged music and passionate worship ministry. Born on November 5, 1984, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, he is the only son of the late Pastor Gbadebo Oyekan, General Overseer of the Evangelical Baptist Church and former leader of the worship group ‘Spiritual Singers’.

Dunsin’s musical journey began at the age of 10 when he started playing the guitar under his father’s guidance. He pursued a degree in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Ilorin but answered a divine call to full-time worship ministry in 2014.

Over the years, Dunsin has released several impactful albums, including Code Red (2016), Kingdom Now (2019), The Gospel of the Kingdom (2021), and The Great Commission (2024).

His music, characterized by deep spiritual insight and fervent worship, includes popular songs like “Breathe,” “Fragrance to Fire,” and “Yah,” which have garnered millions of streams on platforms like Spotify . Dunsin is also known for organizing prophetic worship events such as CODE RED, aiming to stir revival through worship.

In his personal life, Dunsin was married to Adedoyin Oyekan, whom he met at the University of Ilorin. They married on February 2, 2013, and had two children together. Tragically, Adedoyin passed away on May 18, 2019 . Despite personal losses, Dunsin continues to inspire many through his unwavering faith and dedication to spreading the gospel through music.
