Lake Charles, LA -- He is a preacher, songwriter, and soulfully southern singer. Cody Holley released his debut album SATURATE in 2011 and returned in 2025 with a deeply personal single, "God Loves The Broken." With a renewed and focused mind and spirit, he started 2026 in full momentum as he set out to release a new single each month from January to April.
In January, he gave us a "By & By," an Urban and Southern Gospel flavored remake of the classic hymn "When The Morning Comes" that features Marcus Cole, formerly of Commissioned. "By & By" is also his current radio single, airing on Gospel radio stations across the country.
February was a celebration of love with "Nobody Loves Me (Like You)," a ballad co-written by Holley and Bishop Clint Brown that Holley performs with heart and soul.
Holley's single for March is a churchy Gospel song that reflects Holley's Pentecostal roots and upbringing. "The Moment You Step In" is a robust track that invites listeners to join in, just as a congregation would unify in song during Sunday service. "The Moment You Step In" is available now on all digital music outlets.
Holley prepares for one more single release in his new music series. "He Is," a contemporary worship anthem, will be released on April 17. "He Is" showcases Holley's diverse musical abilities to deliver soulful contemporary, churchy traditional, and worshipful anthems and songs of praise.
