Folasade Akintunde the US based gospel artist has been graced with the privilege of leading congregations and Christian gatherings into the presence of God through Holy Spirit-led ministrations over the years.
Originally from Nigeria, she possesses a deep passion for worship and her commitment to serving God through music is clear for all to see.
She started singing at a young age in the choir alongside her siblings and over the years her journey has grown into a life of total commitment to the great commission.
She has been part of PUNE Musicale a music ensemble in Maharashtra, India. She also worked with talented women of faith in group called DELIVERANCE.
In addition, she served as a worship leader in her local church helping lead people into intense worship and connection with God —something that has become central to her calling.
Outside of music, Folasade is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She currently works with the New York City Department of Education (District 75) where she supports individuals with special needs. Her life reflects a strong heart for service, both in her career and in her ministry.
Folasade is driven by one clear purpose which is to serve God and bring glory to Him. Thtough her music inspired by the Word of God, she seeks to uplift people and draw them closer to God's presence.
She is also passionate about helping others live healthier and more fulfilling lives through fitness and wellness.
Her latest single, “Holy Spirit,” released in April 2026 is a heartfelt prayer for revival. It calls listeners to open their hearts to the Holy Spirit and live fully for God. The official video, released on May 5th, 2026, carries the same powerful message. Her desire is that everyone who listens will experience a real encounter with God beyond what she experienced while recording the song.
Folasade lives in New York, with her husband and their God fearing children and together they are building God's kingdom.
