We cannot come to Jesus with our spiritual hands full of our accomplishments, titles, and egos and also expect to have the capacity to receive His blessings. However, when we come to Him empty-handed, we’re able to receive all of Him! Sometimes, we get so distracted with our desires that instead of finding room for God, we try to fill various voids.
By doing so, we fail to leave room for God to bless us beyond our performance. Regardless of how life ebbs and flows, let us acknowledge our God in His ability to pour into us everything we need to give Him glory!
