With a monumental stage presence delivering traditional sounds with contemporary flair, Men of Prayze represent the roots of Gospel Quartet music and the future of the rapidly growing genre. The gentlemen received a 2022 Quartet Music Award Artist of the Year honor and a 2025 Stellar Gospel Music Award for Quartet of the Year for their album LIVE: IN THE RED. In follow-up to their award-winning project, Men of Prayze has returned with a new single, "Leave Me Alone."
Men of Prayze offer "Leave Me Alone" as a reminder that Jesus is on your side. Written by Re'gal Moore and Anthony Moore, the song is a soulful declaration that the focus should remain on God, even when the enemy places distractions in the way. The single is released by independent record label EvoWorld Entertainment, owned by Quartet music forerunner Lisa Knowles-Smith, and is available now on all digital music outlets.
Formed in 2007, Men of Prayze has evolved into one of Gospel music's most notable male groups. The group members today are Anthony Moore, LeNard Tremayne Smith, Brandon Witherspoon, Chris Evans, and Shaver Autry. They have toured extensively and appeared with The Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's, and Lisa Knowles and The Brown Singers. You can se and hear Men of Prayze live this summer in Talladega, AL, on June 26, Griffin, GA on June 7, Newton Grove, NC on June 28, and Olanta, SC on July 4.
Their love for the traditional music they grew up appreciating, combined with the popularity of the contemporary stylings they are gifted to create, undeniably grants Men of Prayze the ambassadorship to continue elevating the Gospel Quartet genre for audiences beyond church and traditional demographics.
